I am enthusiastic to run for the role of President for the Behavioural Innovations Society and I am keen to outline my motivation for this role:

  1. I have a strong interest in behavioural science and its applications in multiple fields. I am currently a first year PhD student at the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change, carrying out a project on behaviour change and environmental sustainability. As president, I would hope to share my enthusiasm for behavioural science with students from diverse academic backgrounds and to contribute to the society’s mission of bringing about positive and sustainable behaviour change in the UCL community and beyond.
  2. Throughout my academic studies, I have worked on a range of interdisciplinary research projects and gained strong teamwork skills. I have experience liaising with people in multiple fields and, therefore, I understand the importance of clear communication and timely administration to ensure the smooth execution of tasks and events. In this way, as president, I would be committed to fostering and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations and key stakeholders at UCL to enhance the society's reach and impact.
  3. As president, I would be committed to driving the society forward by encouraging a culture of innovation, inclusion and growth. I would work collaboratively with committee members to explore new ideas and opportunities for the society to expand its reach and make a meaningful difference!
