My experience in the Art Business Society has been a positive one: from visits to auction houses to being part of the charity auction art acquisition team led by Alix, it has solidified my decision to be more involved in the society through being part of the organising committee. I believe that being a Deputy Events Officer will allow me to gain further insight into the art world by providing a different perspective through being behind-the-scenes. I hope to organise a variety of events, not only visits to museums and talks with industry leaders, but also talks with art investors which will provide a new perspective on the value of art from a purchaser's POV. Furthermore, more career events would be beneficial for members looking to go into the art industry.

I have an array of experiences in organising events, in particular, the Model UN conference in my high school with over 300 participants. As the Deputy Secretary-General, I oversaw the creation of the conference schedule, planned engaging activities for delegates and liaised with guest speakers. This has taught me to manage important administrative duties and be flexible when unexpected situations arise.

I was also the President of Debates in my school. I curated a series of personalised workshops for junior members which put them in a better position to compete in competitions. I also planned an orientation programme for new members and various outings for the club as bonding activities, to encourage higher engagement.
