Argentine Tango Society: Welfare Officer

Having proudly served as your Madame President, I am excited to continue contributing to our community as Welfare Officer! My aim will be to cultivate a vibrant society with a safe dance environment.

Drawing on my experience collaborating with the Student Union, I will be able to represent your concerns and interests efficiently. To encourage open communication, I will also create a form where you can submit your concerns anonymously throughout the year. As a Pharmacy student, I align with the role's responsibilities and look forward to being a supportive presence!

In this role, I plan to introduce a short-term volunteer project, training members to teach tango to diverse audiences, to promote community engagement. Additionally, I aim to launch Project Active, a dynamic workout inspired by tango music and movements. Through this initiative, I hope to spread the physical wellness aspect of tango to all our members and UCL students in a fun and accessible way.
