Having enjoyed the events this year as a 2nd year medical student, I want to contribute back to the society by being part of the committee next year. If I get elected as the treasurer, I would ensure that resources are allocated sustainably and appropriately to support society events, making them more enjoyable for all participants. With previous experiences in handling finances for a society, I am confident that I can explore cost-saving measures without compromising the quality and attractiveness of our events.

Apart from being responsible for finances, I will also work closely with the other committee members to ensure that our members get the best learning experience out of our activities. As someone who is interested in pursuing a future path in surgery, I am looking forward to discussing the possibility of introducing more events related to surgical anatomy, on top of current tutorials which cover anatomy mostly from pre-clinical lectures. I believe that this would overall benefit both medical students and students across many other fields like forensic science, physiotherapy and biomedical engineering. Most importantly, I would love to take suggestions from members and help organise events that people want!

I wish to see the society flourish and hope to continue meeting different people who share an interest in anatomy. Thank you for considering me and I am looking forward to working with everyone next year!
