Amateur Boxing Club: Treasurer

I have boxed competitively for nearly two and a half years and have been an active member of UCL’s boxing squad since the start of this academic year. I deeply respect all members, including coaches and boxers, and admire their dedication in running the club smoothly, ensuring consistent training opportunities despite challenges. The coaches are organised, reliable and firm when necessary, while the captains serve as exemplary role models. I aim to emulate their leadership and commitment.

I believe that I can serve well as the treasurer of the club; I already have lots of experience helping my local home boxing club in securing additional funding by data collection via questionnaires and writing emails to various sponsors, helping to organise dinner shows and setting up a database to store the personal data of all members of the club.

As treasurer, my main objectives would be to secure ample funding for the club, handle administrative tasks efficiently and ensure UCL boxing members have access to as many perks, opportunities and events as possible. Additionally, I am committed to ensuring smooth operations for all club members, ensuring they encounter no problems or challenges of any sort.
