Writers' Society: President

Hi, I'm Harry :) I have been passionately involved with Writer's Society for nearly two years now. This year I have taken over the role of Chair of Poetry and have committed myself to its duties by arranging events and feedback sessions which I hope you have all enjoyed. At the same time, co-ordinating with other members of the leadership committee to make sure that the society's events run smoothly. I hope to make sure that Writer's Society continues to blossom under my leadership. For it to be the diverse, active, and enjoyable society that it always has been. As part of my plan for the society, I would massively try to drive up attendance rates, have continual social media presence on all platforms and fortnightly meetings with the leadership team to make sure that we are catering for the societies needs. I plan to have a wider range of events alongside the usual ones that the society offers: such as pub crawls, visits to famous literary locations in London, and making sure open mic are arranged in exciting new places. I am a good team worker and am excited to work with new committee members and keep Writer's society running the way it always has done. Whilst making changes so that it more fun, more diverse, and a greater amount of experiences are on offer.
