Volunteering Society: Marketing Director

I am standing for the role of Marketing Director as I feel that I will be able to succeed in this position due to my developed skills of communication, team work and creativity. I would hope to be able to work alongside the rest of the committee, in order to successfully plan and execute numerous exciting opportunities, in order to engage students, with the aim of promoting volunteering opportunities for a wide range of important causes. I have a vast amount of experience in this sector, as I have previously held the role of the Chair of the my school's Charities and Campaigns Committee and am also part of the Events subcommittee for UCL LWOB, where I have the role of promoting and planning events. Therefore, I would use the skills and knowledge which I have gained, through the challenges which I persevered through in these past experiences, to enable me to excel in this position as Marketing Director. Furthermore, this role is especially interesting to me as I feel as though the effective promotion and advertising of each volunteering opportunity is particularly important and this would motivate me to work even harder in this position.
