Volleyball Club: Mixed Team Captain

Hello UCL Volleyball!

I am humbly asking for your nomination for mixed team captain next year. I have been a part of the UCL volleyball community for the past two academic years, and I could not have wished for a more welcoming and genuine group of people all dedicated and passionate about volleyball. Becoming team captain would offer a unique chance to multiply my opportunities to engage with the UCL community and the volleyball community, all the while creating a space for the players of the mixed team to perform and reach the heights I'm sure we can reach as a team.

Being a middle blocker, I know how underrepresented some positions can feel, (hahaha) but jokes aside, I'm a team player that wants to make everyone feel comfortable and happy to be a part of such a wonderful community. 

I am eager to take on the responsibilities that come with being team captain, from the boring but necessary admin, to the player development, attending every training, and making sure we play our best for every game. By voting for me, I hope to make a positive impact on the UCL volleyball community, both on and off the court.
