Surgical Society: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Chair

As oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) chair I would want to implement new schemes such as a practical and interactive OMFS workshop series that is accessible to all.

This would allow students to practice and learn things such as jaw plating etc that are not offered in the med school curriculum and will allow for networking opportunities with the head and neck surgeons around London. 

I would also want to carry out talks regarding head and neck surgery as a career and how medical students now can increase their exposure to it, if interested. 

Overall my goal is to create free, hands-on learning opportunities throughout the year open to and suitable for medical students of all year groups. At the moment there isn't much opportunity for this, so I believe it's something all students will find valuable (and hopefully enjoy).
