- as a treasurer - raise strike and solidarity funds 

Organising a speakout on International Day Against Gender Violence (25th Nov) brought the lack of trans-inclusive fightbacks into the spotlight as most demos held were exclusive to cis women. Speakers from a wide range of backgrounds participated, covering topics of gender violence from Iran to the USA. In light of the numerous recent Tory attacks on bodily autonomy, the necessity of building for IWD '23 is impossible to ignore. With the history of capitalist gender exploitation in mind, IWD '23 should not be a final goal, but rather a starting point in the long struggle ahead, making SSA and its presence more vital than ever. As a treasurer, my main goal would be raising strike and solidarity funds, facilitating my colleagues' efforts to organise and fight back.
