Stage Crew Society: President

Hey, I’m Sage. You might recognise me as the current Stage Crew Treasurer (or as that person who naps in the green room during Blooms prod weeks lol). I believe my breadth of experience as assistant, deputy and head across all theatrical departments, along with my administrative experience from being a principal committee officer (yay Union bureaucracy), would allow me to efficiently lead and represent the interests of the society as a whole.

My two main focal points as President would be education and welfare. I would like to coordinate easier sharing of knowledge, experience and resources between members using tools such as Google Drive, in-person workshops and our social media. I believe this would encourage self-improvement; make it less intimidating for those taking on a crew lead role for the first (or fourth) time and will ensure the success and longevity of the society itself. In addition to this, I would like to work with Stage Crew members to create a more comprehensive welfare plan and extend our provisions beyond just show week snacks and the occasional non-theatre related social.
