I am running for captain this year! Having seen the progress we have made in the last few months and to be finishing off the season so strong, it is so exciting looking ahead to next year.
Having been your vice captain this year, I hope that I have shown you that I put the needs of my team first, and have tried to and will continue to ensure that rugby is a time of the week that you look forward to. As captain I believe that I would be able to foster an environment that encourages you and allows you each to develop your individual skills, whilst tying it all together to create a unique and powerful team.
I truly believe that as captain this team will keep growing next year, and to be able to leave my mark on this little family would be such an honour.
