Political Risk and Intelligence Society: President

Hi everyone! 

My name is Ioana and I am a first year BSc Politics and International Relations student. I would like to nominate myself for this position as I am highly interested in assessing potential risks and intelligence.

As President, I would strive to bring job opportunities closer to members and make it easier for them to actively learn about the job market. I wish to bring speakers from both the private and public sector and cater events to your particular interests. Through such events, members would develop a better understanding of what it takes to work in this field, as well as network with employers.

As for my qualifications, I have been (and currently am!) the Career Officer of the Diplomacy society. This has helped me gain a better understanding of how to run committee meetings, engage with members' needs and interests, and organise events with high profile speakers. I wish to build on my previous experience and support members at every step.

Thus, I would strive to represent this amazing society as best as I can. Besides working to make the career searching process less intimidating for members, I wish to promote a collaborative and supportive environment.
