The highlight of my first year at UCL has really been participating in all the performances at K-pop soc throughout the year. First term showcase was an unforgettable experience but second term Blooms really blew that out of the water. I'm looking to maintain or even elevate that standard of performance and production!! I believe in the importance of input and opinions as much as possible, as it's really the performers and society members that make the whole thing as spectacular as it is.

Be it through working with leaders for a perfect set list, ensuring performance days goes smoothly, or handling admin stuff, I believe my contributions as dance performance officer will not go unseen ??

An An

As I have been working as one of the k-pop soc committee, I have clear vision of the overall society’s goal and the way we worked together to bring out all these amazing events. I have the confidence to not only manage the work under dance performance officer, but also give helping hands to other committee members.

In terms of leadership, I have been leading dance pieces in both term 1 showcase and bloom gayodaejeon for 2 years, and helped with the blooms showcase production this year, this allows me to have better understanding of how to produce a showcase and stay above the game.

Besides, the role of treasurer for the last year committee helped me to clearly see where the money is spent for a proper showcase, with this experience in mind, I’m confident to say that I can produce a showcase more money-efficient.

Please vote me to be ur dance performance officer of K-pop society this year~

Julie Y Seo

I have always enjoyed listening to K-pop and dancing. I have enjoyed the events that K-pop society has provided and the opportunities to perform whilst meeting so many new people and making many new friends. K-pop society has been such an inclusive and bright environment to be in and to work in with other people who share the same passions.

I wish to help more behind the scenes as the Dance Performance Officer. With my experiences and organisational skills, I would like to contribute my ideas and make the performances even more impressive and memorable with our dances and everyone's contributions. I would love to continue the amazingness of Kpop society as the Dance Performance Officer and create more memories and fun in Kpop society!! ^^

Bianne Che

Hello! I am Bianne :) A 2nd-year Biomedical Engineering student and your current Welfare Officer of K-POP Society.

I am running for Dance Performance Officer for the next academic year as I am passionate about dancing. I've participated in all of the showcases ever since I joined K-POP Society, and this year, I even have the chance to join the competition team to compete with 20+ universities across the UK. I am also the director of UCL Gayo Daejeon 2023 (Term 2 Showcase), which happened just a few days ago and it was a success.

In addition, I also participate in dance covers both in the society and out of the society, which allows me to explore different concepts that K-POP has and can take this into consideration while planning for a showcase and/or competition.

I believe all of my experiences in performances, along with being a committee of K-POP Society this year, will help me to fit into this role and to bring all of you some fun, exciting, and memorable showcases.
