Ches Stupak

As someone who has been actively involved in the International Relations Society this academic year, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact it can have on its members.

My experience in promoting every single event as the Social Media Director has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the needs and interests of many members. Additionally, my years of experience in organising and leading teams have equipped me with the skills to plan and execute successful events. Furthermore, my strong connections with other societies will create opportunities for new collaborations and partnerships.

I am committed to taking this society forward by implementing a range of initiatives that will benefit all members. For example, I plan to expand the society's outreach by having more social events, develop the Circum Mundum journal, and increase opportunities for professional development. Additionally, I aim to promote dialogue between guests and members as well as offer more opportunities for networking with leading academics and practitioners.

Most importantly, my vision for this society is not just mine alone. I want to hear from each and every member about what they want to see from this society, what issues matter to them, and what ideas they have.

Thank you for considering my candidacy. I look forward to serving as the president of the International Relations Society.
