Immunology Society: President

Hello there! My name is Cem, and I am a year 2 Biomedical Engineer going into my final year, who wants to make our favorite new Immunology Society even better!  I have been eager to contribute to society, ever since I attended one of the seminars "Oncolytic Viruses",  After which I decided I would be running in this election for President.

Here are my proposals for next Year:

1 - Growth of Society - increase Marketing & Social Media.

2 - Joint Events - connect with students all across the Union at society events.

3-  Academic Seminar Emphasis - At least 1 Seminar per Term, with other Events such as Pub, crawls, Social nights, and more!

4 - Graduate Research Advice - Small Workshops designed to provide direction and experience to all our members interested in Immunology & Infectious disease processes.

I have previously acted as the Vice President of the Biomedical Engineering Society for this year, as well as being the Sponsorship manager in my first year. These committee roles have allowed me to understand the inner workings of a small society, and how all members can work together, to plan, run and grow it into an even better one!

I would encourage all who want a more engaging and exciting Society to Vote for me!
