Filipino Society: Publicity and Marketing Officer

hey guys, i'm franz and i'll be running for the publicity and marketing officer position (plus another) in ucl filipino society. if elected as the society's p&m officer, i aim to consistently deliver across online platforms as well as create a presence on campus through posters and other media to advertise our events. i feel that i can use my pathological addiction to my phone to my advantage ;)

despite being a society for and by ucl's filipino community, i aim to also invite students from other backgrounds and have them participate in our games nights, day trips and other events in the next academic year - i hope to share the filipino spirit and pride with all of ucl's communities!

in addition to our own communities at ucl, i aspire to maintain the collaborative spirit with filipino communities from other universities, and carry out more successful inter-uni events, which again can always be achieved through a prominent online and physical presence.

it would be my pleasure to contribute to the legacy of the society with the rest of the committee and members, and ultimately take pride in helping organise ucl's filipino community - take care :)

Hey! I’m Alezei and this year I am running for Media and Publicity Officer.

Having the opportunity to be part of Filipino society has not only made me preserve my culture as a Filipino but I’ve met really amazing people whom I’ve made unforgettable memories with. I have realised how much dedication the committee have put in to remind us of our culture and the effort of bringing UCL’s filipino community together. For this reason, I want to take this opportunity to help and continue bringing joy to our society. 

As a creative person, I am very confident that I can maintain and grow our social outreach. I want to continue the dedication this society has by promoting the Society’s events. I want to utilise my past experience of being a school ambassador and the enthusiasm for creating content on social media to advocate our Society’s upcoming events by creating eye-opening posters and aim to make our social media content accessible by making it easy to read, ensuring to post in a timely manner and keep the community updated.

In addition, as the “resident” YouTuber, I plan to document our events for the mems! I hope you consider me for this position, and I can’t wait to make new memories with everyone.
