Hello, my name is Hanna and I'm running for the Treasurer position at the ESG Society. I am currently a first-year student of BSc Management Science. As a FYR at the ESG Society I got a chance to observe, participate and work closely with the President and Senior Committee of our society. In my final year of IB I organized a SG MUN conference for over 100 students and directed a budget of 25000 PLN, the successfulness of which proved my time-management, delegating and communication skills. have prepared me with the critical, analytical and strategic thinking that is well desired in any industry. I want to share this passion with other UCL students.
In the following terms as the Treasurer, I wish to reach out to more sponsors and broaden the network of the ESG society. Finally, I have energy and passion to serve the Society. As the treasury of the committee, I will calculate and budget our finances to bring in more approachable events. Whether it is panel speakers or case competitions, for students interested in ESG to continuously improve and hone their abilities to impact the world even after they leave UCL. Additionally, I would organise more social events where members would intermingle across project teams, to improve the cohesiveness and dynamic of ESG as a society.
Hi everyone, I’m Adam and I believe that I am the best fit for the role of treasurer!
First and Foremost, I have strong mathematical background having achieved high marks at high school level. This is further demonstrated by my choice of degree: Geography and Social Data Science, which demands strong number and data-managing skills.
Moreover, my passion for ESG as a whole further motivates me to be part of the society‘s committee. It notably gave me the opportunity to sign up for a Voiz Academy course that introduces students to the world of an ESG analyst. This course has allowed me to immerse myself in the corporate world through a sustainable lens, which is something that would not be possible without the society. As such, I hope that a position in the committee would allow me to provide such opportunities to fellow UCL students that are interested in ESG.
Finally, I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that would be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with members, sponsors, and partners. I am a collaborative team player who enjoys working in a group, and I am always willing to listen to feedback and ideas from others. As such, I look forward to contributing my skills and experience to an organization that aligns with my values and goals.
Hello everyone! My name is Anna Konietzko and I'm currently a First-Year Representative of the ESG Society and I'm excited to announce that I'm running for the position of Treasurer.
Throughout this academic year, I've gained valuable experience within the society. I initiated the "How to start sustainably investing" event with sustainable finance expert Jessica Robinson, enhancing my professional communication and organizational skills, which I hope to leverage as Treasurer.
In addition, I helped organise other events and communicated with guests, which received positive feedback.
Regarding my past experience, I already have several experiences managing finances of an organization.
I co-founded a fundraiser financing the education of teachers in Haiti and will do an internship at a sustainable wealth manager during the summer where my main tasks will also entail financial planning. Through a financial modeling course I also have the suitable hard skills to make forecasts and to analyse the society‘s financial health.
Further, as the role of the treasurer includes essentially getting the financial backup, I believe that I could utilise one of my greatest strengths, being communication, through this role, especially since I know the society through being a First Year Representative well.
Thank you for considering my candidacy!
