Dancing Le Rock Society: President

Hello Everybody, 

It would be a privilege to carry on the enthusiastic society that is the Dancing le rock society. As a member of it since the start of this academic year, I have witnessed the energy, the sense of welcoming and the passion that the the other members of this society share. However, as a president not only do I want to carry on this legacy, but take the opportunity to take it to the next level. Le rock has been an important part of me for a while and I wish to transfer this passion to you all and the futur members. 

I am a extremely outgoing person with a great sense of leadership and attention to peoples need. I am going to organise separate events where we dance le rock, but also social parties for our members and incorporate other dances such as the waltz or the madison during certain dancing lessons. Furthermore, as only a second-year student next year, I will have all the time necessary to focus on my role as a president. Look for a lot of fun, dynamic sessions and great dancing from the society next year. 

I cannot wait to work with the future committee and the members to lead on the Dancing le Rock society!

Dear Members,

After being a DLR society member for nearly two years and serving as a treasurer this year, I can confidently say dancing le rock has become an essential part of my week at UCL. The people, the music, and the joy of dancing - come once and you will never leave! 

As the president, I plan to continue organising weekly sessions and events with other societies, enriched by themed parties and a ball. You can also expect open-air sessions, socials, and extra lessons with jive and swing professional dancers! If you would like to see anything else happen - I am there for you!
