Climbing and Mountaineering Club: Vice-Captain

Hi, I'm Andrea! I'm a first-year Geography student and I was on the UCLCMC competitive team this year. The competitive team has been such an exciting and major part of my first year and it has been an incredible journey, from feeling slightly intimidated during team trials to just having placed 3rd as a team in the LUBE competition series. I definitely want to continue being a part of the team next year, so I'm running for Vice-Captain! 

Having competed in inter-school competitions in secondary, I was eager to continue competitive climbing at university. Our team has grown stronger together, and we have had the best team spirit and energy this year. It has been an absolute blast and there is nothing I want more now than to ensure we keep the impeccable vibes from this year's team in the coming year. For reassurance, I happened to be the captain of my school climbing team during sixth form. With me as vice-captain, you will get endless climbing encouragement, endless longing for tropical weather, lots of vibing to music (gym, minivan, karaoke or otherwise), the occasional trying to brush holds until new texture forms... and well yeah I think that might be it :)
