I am running for this position because I have a passion for the United Nations and an ability to manage money, which I would love to use to help the society. If elected, I would make sure that funds are properly allocated to where they need to be. I would work with member of the committee to see what needs are coming up in the future and address them accordingly. I would also love to explore the possibility of fundraising activities to decrease reliance on membership fees.

I am a first year student studying History, Politics and Economics. Currently I serve as the Events Director here at the UNA. I also write a weekly script for the news segment of PiTV and have written news and opinion articles for their online publication.

Hello everyone. I am running for Treasurer!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this year at UCLUNA, particularly as a First-Year Rep and I want to contribute back! LIMUN and ULMUN conferences have been highlights, but I think our weekly Tuesday sessions have been really enjoyable. UCLUNA stands out to me as a close-knit community that remains passionate about furthering the aims and values of the United Nations.

I am committed to UCLUNA, responsible, organised and have a strong eye for detail. I also hope to combine my interest in both finance and leadership perspectives. I will continue on the great work of the existing Treasurer and build upon several aspects through my S.U.N.A.K plan – inspired by Chancellor Rishi Sunak.

S. ound budget:

  • Make sure all spending is responsible – to make sure we run a balanced budget for the year 2022/2023.
  • Explore additional avenues of funding with ‘sustainable sponsors’

U. nited:

  • Contribute to the team on finance, but where necessary on the organisation of socials, guest speaker events and conferences.
  • Reach out to the student population - making UCLUNA visible across the community

N. ations

A. ccessibility:

  • Explore possibilities of partial/full sponsoring of conference attendance and socials, through society treasury funds or UCLSU Activities funds

K. now

  • Work hard to be informed of the most efficient/appropriate ways to allocate money and how funding can be used to assist UCLUNA
