Taekwondo Club: President

Since starting university in September, joining Taekwondo has definitely been the best decision I have made. I look forward to training every week and I discovered a passion I never knew I had. This is one of many reasons why I want to stand as President for the next year. Although it will be hard to maintain the extremely high standard of sport the current committee has built I am confident I can bring bigger energy and enthusiasm to the club. The thing I've heard most people asking for the club are things to do with kit or free merch and sponsorship, this is why securing sponsorship, specifically a sports brand, will be my goal. As such an established club it's only right that we also have an established brand sponsorship :) I have experienced the joy of being a member of Taekwondo this year therefore I would like to be as involved in the club as possible to bring this same joy to the members next year! As someone who is relatively 'inexperienced' compared to other club members, I would like to show that being part of UCL Taekwondo is much more than just being good at the sport, it's about the energy and determination you put not just to win that medal for your club but also for yourself.
