Aaman Khan

Hello Stage Crew members!

I'm Aaman, a second year Pharmacy student and I am hoping to serve as the society's Social Secretary for the second year running!

While I only joined Stage Crew 2 months ago, I have already learned so much about how the society operates. Stage Crew has become a place where I have met many new people and backgrounds and has already given me some skills and experiences that will be beneficial to me in many walks of life.

I am hoping to be re-elected as I want to build on the work that I have already started so far this year, including socials such as Rhapsody watch-alongs and managing the society's events and collaborations on our social media. Prior experience of organising social activities is key for this position which is why I believe I am an excellent fit for this role. Thus, if I am voted in, I want Stage Crew to be a place where people can socialise not just as colleagues, but also as friends out of the theatre environment, by:

- A marquee meet and greet during Freshers for new and returning members to start the new year off by knowing each other better.

- Holding regular production socials with anyone from the society to encourage familiarity and friendship.

- Continuing to liaise with other societies to hold joint socials - for example, the popular Mully's nights.

It would be an honour to serve as Social Secretary again, and I'm looking forward to making 2022-23 the most social year yet!

Jessica Zeng

I want to provide a wider range of opportunities to make friends with others in our society. To achieve this, I'm interested in organising more non-theatre-related socials (like ice-skating or quiz night) while keeping up with the current theatre-related social we already have (like watching other blooms shows).

Bonnie Choy

Hi! I would like to run for social secretary of Stage Crew. Being a member of the Stage Crew in the past year was fun, really fun. It was a pity that I joined the society relatively late, however, from the productions in Blooms and small shows I learnt a lot about setting up lights and sound and communication during the show. I still have a lot to learn, especially about programming, and I am excited to experience more next year. Being in theatre, is an absolute enjoyment for me. I would be more then thrilled to take up the job as social secretary, to organise events for fellow members and let everyone enjoy spending the time together. I love to chat with people, not to mention suggesting fun evens for a group to enjoy. I am also member of some other arts society, I believe that would help me understand the atmosphere is other societies and arrange joint-society events. I look forward to contribute more to the society next year.

Ananya Ashta

Because I believe get outs should be followed by a party of immense magnitudes.

Disclaimer: Get outs are not limited to post show clean up - we will go party every time we "get out" of a room.

Hasha Dar

i couldn't leave this,

its strong grip dragging me through,

my graduation.
