Snowsports Club: Media Officer

Hi i'm Agathe, third year chemistry student, running to be your media and marketing officer for another year!

I believe that social media is at the heart of every society, it's the first glance people get from the atmosphere. Being part of the committee this year has showed how much I love the community and how passionate I am about this role. This enriching experience has enabled me to gain knowledge about digital promotion, to work with multiple editing platforms (Canva, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop) and has taught me how to better listen to others' input.

This year, I have tried giving the club's social media a new light through weekly posts and updates on Instagram and Facebook. If elected I want to further increase the club's following and engage the community more through polls, live streams. I also want to focus on creating more promotional content for the ski trip and expand our TikTok platform by participating to challenges. The club has launched its line of merch and I aim to further expend the line to t-shirts, fleeces, jogger. I also plan to make the process more personal, by offering a couple of design and colour options for members to chose from. Additionally, I intend to put forward the competitive side of snowsports by teaming up with other societies such as photography society to get quality content of our racers, freestylers.

I love working with others and hope to provide more unique, interactive digital content to our beautiful community!
