Climate Action Society: Social Media Director

Hi! I’m Sarah, a first-year Law student ?? I'm the current Social Media Director and I hope to be re-elected for next year :-) This term, I have been managing and posting on CAS social media!

As someone who is passionate about both the environment and creativity, I enjoy the challenge of creating content that people resonate with, and find the thrill of watching one’s creative efforts translate into real-world results and meaningful change very exciting.

I have extensive experience with marketing, including within the sphere of environmental activism. I have served on the marketing committee for a regional UN conference about the SDGs, which involved creating thought leadership content, interacting with environmental leaders and advertising the event itself. In my gap year, I also worked in marketing positions for two local charities. Being engaged with fundraising and the social service sector taught me a lot about bottom-up activism and event management. Beyond social media, I have experience in creating hard-copy collaterals, EDM, website content and fundraising.

I hope to represent you all as Social Media Director and bring about meaningful and exciting action!
