Climate Action Society works to promote both education about the Climate Crisis and coordinates direct, targeted campaigns to support climate action. We are a kind, supportive, and welcoming community who share a desire to create real change here at UCL and beyond.
Previously, we have organised protests, coordinated campaigns such as Fossil Free Careers, and run climate cafés to discuss climate issues. We have also launched a Climate Action Society magazine. This year, we intend to continue our progress by hosting a series of fascinating talks, developing the ‘Climate Briefing’ newsfeed, and running many more exciting campaigns.
So, if you want to meet like-minded friends whilst making a tangible positive impact in your community, you should come along to a weekly meeting or find us in welcome week! Fashion, politics, medicine, engineering, geography - whatever you study and whatever your skills are, there's a place for you on the CAS team!
