Book Club: Treasurer

I have really enjoyed being a member of UCL book club for the past year and it has become such an important part of my university experience. I would love to become part of the committee to help the society grow and flourish even more than it has this year, and ultimately to help ensure that even more members have an even more enjoyable experience taking part in bookish activities.

I understand that the role of treasurer is crucial in any society, and book club is no exception. As treasurer, I would do my absolute best to ensure that we work efficiently with the money we have to guarantee we deliver the best events possible. My organisation skills mean I am well suited to keeping on top of small details, and I also have previous experience in handling money and working with figures, therefore making me very well-suited to managing the society's finances. Most importantly, I know I would work really well with the rest of the committee to make book club the best possible experience for everyone involved!
