I am standing for this position first and foremost because I wrote and published my own article. The process of research and indulging myself in the topic was so fun and I really want to help others pursue their interests too. Also, I want to do some hands on work in terms of getting us volunteering opportunities. As a law student, I do pro bono work myself and I really value dedicating time and effort to helping out.
