Xinyuan Dai

I'm a year 3 undergraduate student in BSc Psychology and Language Science. I have a great passion for marketing and wish to engage in marketing for my future career.

I aim to bring my passion, dedication, and marketing skills to the job, working closely with the rest of the team to create impactful and memorable experiences for our students.

I have served as the marketing executive at UCL Guild for the past few months. I created content and helped cooperative partners to promote events on various official social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn) with my colleagues.

I believe I have the ability to make a meaningful difference and contribute to the growth and success of UCL Guild.

Ajay S Manhas

As the largest careers society partnership in the UK, the UCL Guild is an extremely diverse and creative community. Applying to become a Marketing Executive allows me to become involved within this talented space. Furthermore, with the strong network of individuals that the Guild provides, I will be able to collaborate effectively in order to create the most informative and interesting marketing materials possible.

I believe that my ambition and drive would positively benefit other members of the Guild. It is evident that great marketing is an ever growing and important part of successful firms and groups. Therefore, becoming a Marketing Executive will allow me to express a more creative and imaginative side to my thinking, whilst supporting the development of the Guild and its members. This aspect will further be enhanced through the influence of other members’ support and varied perspectives on marketing ideas, which I believe I could provide an innovative outlook on.

As well as this, since June 2022, I have acted as an interim Marketing Executive for the UCL Guild. During this time, I have collaborated with the team to ensure high quality and informative marketing materials were produced and shared across social media platforms. These tasks involved using the graphic design tool Canva, which I am comfortable with.

I believe that if I become a Marketing Executive for the UCL Guild, I will be able to have a positive impact on the Committee and the Guilds members.
