Volunteering Society: Treasurer

I believe my past leadership experience in organizing events and fundraisers in high school and collaborating with members and leaders have equipped me with the skills necessary to be Treasurer for the Volunteering Soc. I have experience working with other leadership members, budgeting for events, reaching out to potential sponsors, and asking for funding. I also have experience keeping track of spending both in a formal setting, tracking the ins and outs of school societies, and in my personal life, helping my friends and family budget their daily expenditures.

With experience in handling event planning (booking venues, making itenararies, etc.), I will also be able to contribute to the leadership team when planning volunteering events for the society members. Furthermore, my experience working in leadership committees and participating in leadership meetings has given me the necessary skills to collaborate with members, leaders and supervisors. With these skills, I will do my best to also contribute in fostering a sense of community in our society, while also keeping our finances in check.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve as Treasurer in UCL's Volunteering Society. My past leadership and volunteering experience make me a great fit for this role, and if elected, I promise to work hard to organize fun volunteering and social events within a reasonable budget and price. I am excited about the opportunity to run for treasurer for the volunteering society because I am passionate about supporting the organization and the valuable work it does in the community. As someone who has always been interested in finance and budgeting, I believe that I have the skills and expertise needed to effectively manage the organization's finances and ensure that resources are being used in the most effective and efficient way possible. In particular, I am interested in working to secure additional funding and resources for the organization, which will allow us to expand our reach and have an even greater impact on the community. Finally, I believe that serving as treasurer would be a great opportunity for personal growth and development, allowing me to develop valuable skills such as leadership, communication, and financial management. Overall, I am excited about the prospect of serving as treasurer for the volunteering society and working together with other members of the organization to make a positive difference in the world.
