Wynsey Chen

Hi everyone!

My name is Wynsey, and I am an undergraduate student from Singapore studying Politics and International Relations. I have been involved in Model United Nations since I was 13 years old - starting out at small-scale school conferences, to leading my school's delegation to receive best delegation awards at international conferences. Just recently, I served as an assistant director at YaleMUN Korea, director of academics at Singapore's largest conference with almost 1000 participants, and council chair at LIMUN. I am also a youth delegate and country ambassador at UNITE2030 where I am engaged in discussions about international-level policy making with delegates from around the world.

My experience gives me the confidence to serve YOU as vice-president. Having dabbled in event-organisation, training and outreach through my various capacities, I aim to bring all the talents in our organising team together to make the next year of UCLUNA a one to remember for all. My goal is that UCLUNA becomes a safe space for everyone - regardless of their experience levels - to learn, grow and have fun :)

As VP, I will have the responsibility of working closely with the Pres, MUN Director and Training officer to enhance our weekly training sessions and facilitate the organisation of delegations for upcoming conferences. Beyond that, I hope to collect feedback from members on what they would like to see in the coming year and how our training sessions can improve!
