Slay tour, slay kit and every single empowerment the club has taught and showed me.
Also, will highlight the importance of maintaining and promoting the morals that are integral to the club like kindness and respect to everyone’s difference or background, supporting one another be it mentally or physically (dk any other ucl clubs who would carry their member all the way to the hospital from a leg injury, SLAY!). And Maddie saying Nominations close in half an hour! Thx.

Emmie Bowlt

Hiya, I’m Emmie and this year I would love to run for Vice President! I’ve been in the club for 3 years, seeing us develop from covid to the strong team we are now. I hope I can use this experience to help other committee members, to continue to develop the club, both as a strong, competitive team and as a fun and empowering club to be a part of.

I would love to help create and distribute kit and stash that reflects how we feel about UCLWRFC (a big fat slay- hello zipups, slides and bucket hats??) and also that makes us feel comfortable whilst we train and play. I’m really keen to advocate for your needs and wants when it comes to stash (as women playing a muddy sport), and prepared to send firm emails so we get our stash asap. Finally, I hope as a chatty committee member, with some rugby/uni life/2 years welfare experience, I can help make new members feel welcome and included, be a friendly face people can talk to and help out with any events, trips and admin.

Temi Bankole

Joining the team this year was one of the best decisions I've made since starting uni and my only regret is not doing it sooner. I've had the opportunity to learn and play the best sport alongside the best people and would like to contribute to helping provide that opportunity to other new players. Plus, my newfound passion for Rugby and knowledge that I'll be taking on this role for a group of people I trust and admire means I'll always have your best interests at heart ;)

But sentiment aside, I'm organised and dedicated, having taken on similar administrative roles in the past, such as organising my 6th form prom, fundraisers, and charity walks. I'm no stranger to liaising with companies, chasing down order updates, and jumping in and helping when needed.

I'd love to take on more responsibility in the team this year and hope to support our lovely President and other committee members in running our club.
