Musical Theatre Society: Social Secretary

Hi everyone! My name is Emilie and I'm a second-year (soon to be third-year) nutrition and medical sciences student. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the musical theatre society this past year and I am so grateful to have gotten to know all the wonderful, passionate and talented people who make the musical theatre society what it is. Going to karaoke nights at Mully's and the Theatre Café as well as group outings to see musicals have personally been such an integral part of feeling welcomed into the musical theatre family. As your social sec, I want to continue to ensure that everyone has that same opportunity to get to know wonderful people, experience the amazing musical culture that London has to offer and relax amongst all uni stress.

I think I would be well suited to the role because I am an enthusiastic member of the MT society, I work really well with other people, and I love organising and planning events. In 2018 and 2019 I organised charity concerts for my school and I was also involved in event planning as president of the student council at my school. I would love the opportunity to be a part of the already amazing MT committee and carry on the excellent work the society has been doing!
