Daniel Louis Clarke

Hi everyone, I'm Daniel. I'd love to become the Welfare Officer at the Investment Society because I believe that I can make this club a welcoming place for everyone involved. I want to make sure everyone feels respected and content. Please reach out to my email [email protected] if you have any questions! I'd love to hear from you!

Miytesh Subbiah

Hello everyone! My name is Miytesh and I’m running for Welfare Officer of UCLIS. Having attended many Investment Society events, I have had the opportunity to interact with the committee as well as my fellow members. This society truly feels like a family and I would love to be a greater part of that. Furthermore, as an international student, I know how important it is to be included and feel like you belong therefore I am extremely committed to this role and your welfare will always be my priority.

 My vision involves:

- ensuring a diverse and inclusive membership base where students from all races, genders and religions are welcomed with open arms

- increasing focus on mental health issues that may affect our members by organizing relevant events. The world of finance and investments can be extremely challenging and I hope to raise awareness on potential issues as well as provide members with the necessary support.

- implementing a drop-in program, either online or in-person, where members can come to me with any queries, feedback or issues they are facing. I hope to create a safe space where members can discuss any challenges without judgement.

Thank you for reading my manifesto and if elected, I promise to do my best in fulfilling your needs and maximizing your welfare!
