Healthcare Management and Politics Society: Management Lead

The role of a doctor is rapidly changing. Doctors need to have the abilities to both work in teams and learn how to lead such teams as and when required. The structure of healthcare is also changing so that doctors can have more flexibility in their job plans and pursue interests outside of the clinical setting. I believe that these factors mean that we need to educate ourselves more on the ins and outs of management from an earlier stage to firstly get a taste of whether Healthcare Management might be the right path for us and to start to develop the skills to become those managers in the future.
