Fencing Club: Armourer

I would extend our current numbering system to include weapons and make a spreadsheet viewable by all in the society so that we can keep better track of the equipment we have and what state it is in. This would further allow us to improve our current loaning system so as to prevent too much equipment from being borrowed at a time.

At the start of the year, those who do come to practice without their own equipment will be asked to fill in a form asking for their preferred weapon and whether they are right-handed or left-handed so that we can maintain a minimum surplus necessary in all weapons. Those who do come to practice with their own equipment should also fill in the form if they like to practice other weapons.

By maintaining a minimum surplus in all fields, the treasurer will not have to provide as much funding for the armoury and we can allocate more funds to important things like socials organised by our social secretary, Ollie.

Finally, I will make sure to scrap epees for use as guard cups for our socials.
