Advertising, Marketing and PR Society: President

Hey! This is Paul and I’m running for President of the Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations Society!

I am a second-year politics and international relations student. I was lucky enough to discover advertising, marketing and PR when I was a child, so I have known for a long time that I want to pursue a career in communications advisory. From public affairs to digital marketing, I interned at the biggest firms in these industries worldwide, including Publicis. Furthermore, I already have experience running student-led organisations, as I created my own online media that aimed to democratise environmental issues for the 15- to 25-year-old segment of society—and had the opportunity to interview the President of the Portuguese Republic.

But I’ve said enough about me. Let’s talk about who matter: you. Next year, I would like to put my business network at your service so we can set up big events for the UCL community and allow you to meet and learn from the leaders of all three industries. London is the European hub for advertising, marketing, and PR, so let’s make the most of it. And last but not least, we will be organising socials to have fun over drinks and food!
