Taekwondo Club: Kit Secretary

Hello, Gen here running for one of your kit secretaries :) Taekwondo has been a huge part of my life for the last 5 years and I'm very keen to finally help participate in the running of the club. 

As someone with previous committee experience such as eSports secretary at my undergraduate uni, I am an excellent fit for the role. I have extensive knowledge of how committees function effectively and the organisational skills needed for maintaining inventory records and storage. Additionally, I have experience with the kit design and ordering process which I would be excited to bring to this role. 

One of the things I would be interested in doing as kit secretary would be to work collaboratively with committee and the club to design merch as soon as possible to hopefully have it ready in time for comps. Additionally, I would make it a priority to either replace the stinky old kit, or implement some sort of cleaning process after training, to ensure a nicer experience when using shared kit. 

I am reliable and dedicated, willing to put my all into this role. It's rare for a postgrad to get the opportunity to be on committee, so thank you very much for considering me for this role. 💕

I am running for kit sec because I can carry the very heavy kit bags for sparring class 💪

I also have lots of experience in multiple other societies, including merch design and managing stock, so I won't lose any of our fabulous merch! I would love to have the honour to design some awesome new merch for next year as well :)

I will also try WASH/REPLACE THE STINKY SHARED KIT FOR OUR SPARRERS !!!!
