Hello! I’m currently a first-year Arts and Sciences student and would love to take on the role of IT and Graphic Designer at the UCL Science Magazine!

I’m really passionate about making scientific communication accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone — regardless of their background or confidence in research. If elected, I would love to help create social media and website platforms that are visually appealing, welcoming, and encourage more students to get involved with the magazine, whether through reading, writing, or sharing ideas.

Majoring in Science and Engineering for my BASc degree, I have a broad understanding of many of the scientific topics we aim to communicate to the wider public. At the same time, minoring in Cultures and completing Visual Arts in the IB has helped me develop creativity and strong visual communication skills, allowing me to present ideas in a way that is both clear and engaging.

I also have experience using Canva for social media design and website creation platforms, and I really enjoy combining creativity with technology to produce content that is both informative and eye-catching. I’d be excited to bring these skills to the magazine and help strengthen its outreach within the UCL community.
