Hi everyone! I’m Samantha, a Year 1 Biomedical Science student, and I would like to nominate myself for the position of Vice President of the UCL Lifestyle Medicine Society. I’m really interested in health and wellbeing, and through studying biomedical science — including modules such as pharmacology — I’ve become more interested in how lifestyle factors and prevention can work alongside medicine to improve health. As Vice President, I hope to help organise engaging events, create an inclusive and supportive environment, and encourage more students to explore lifestyle medicine in an interesting and accessible way. I’m enthusiastic, organised, and enjoy working with others, and I’d really appreciate your support!
