Boat Club: Inclusivity Officer

Hi everyone! My name is Monica and I am running for Inclusivity Officer to give back to the community that welcomed me with open arms.

As an international student from China, UCLBC was the first place at university where I truly felt a strong sense of community and connection. I know how meaningful it is to find a supportive environment, and I want to dedicate myself to fostering that culture for everyone in the club.

My core initiatives will include:

1 Strengthening Welfare Hours: Creating a consistent, relaxed, and supportive environment for members to share their thoughts and seek support.

2 Promoting Diversity & Accessibility: Implementing initiatives that make our club more accessible to students from all cultural and diverse backgrounds.

3 Mental Wellbeing Advocacy: Working closely with the committee to balance academic pressure with training, ensuring our members' mental health is always prioritized.
