Ardelis Lee

A wise person messaged me the other day (Sarah) with the words, "Future kit secs?" and from that day on, I am committed.

Being on this team the past year, I've felt more than just a comrade, but a family. And I would like to offer my hand to ensuring this family remains strong by providing current and new members with the necessary equipment so we're ready to show BUCS and other universities who's boss for the 9th year.

Despite getting obliterated in the head during nationals, my brain still operates efficiently (with a touch of ptsd):

  1. My organisational skills are far higher than my kicks could get - On top of equipment orders, google forms and spreadsheets, I make strict deadlines for every task leading up to the event and am very meticulous with detail.
  2. Adaptable - Everything will go as planned, but if setbacks occur, I probably already considered the possibility of it and have a solution in mind (I'm psychic).
  3. You'll eat up the competitions wearing merch from my artistic vision. Our team spirit will exhibit such an aura that they'll forget which team they're on and start cheering for UCL.
  4. According to my parents, I'm very convincing. Me liaising with companies will hopefully give you the best deals so your drip will be unmatched in comp.
  5. I noticed some sizes of equipments are in short supply for sparrers, so I would like to survey which sizes they use, create a record of what we have and fill any barriers in our supply and demand.

Me as kit sec means #lightwork for you next year <3

Sarah Heydari

I'm really excited about the chance to be the Kit Secretary! I'm super organised, reliable, and dedicated to making sure the club runs smoothly. I pay close attention to details and will make sure all the gear and merchandise are in great shape, easy to find, and ready for practices and games. I'm good at handling orders, keeping track of supplies, and working with suppliers, coaches, and teammates to make sure our kit is top-notch as I have experience with this through working at our merch shop here at UCL!. I'll also team up with the Treasurer to make sure we order everything on time and within budget for our team to use :) I would also love to design the merch so that we can arrive to competition in style, obviously we will be the best dressed there (thanks to ben, we are already off to a great start). I'm ready to take charge of storage, transport, and the condition of the kit, and I'll be proactive in getting volunteers involved and encouraging everyone to show up for training so we can keep things running smoothly. I really think I can bring reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude to this important role as I have aspired to do so even without a committee role, so I am eager to continue that attitude if I am chosen for this role. I look forward to being your kit secretary.
