European Horizons Society: Treasurer

Hi everyone! I’m Sasha 😊
I’m a second-year SPS student, and I’m excited to be running for Treasurer of European Horizons this year!

I’ve really admired everything European Horizons has accomplished this year; the growing number of high-quality speakers and events has been so impressive. Although I haven’t been able to attend as many events as I would’ve liked this year, I’m looking forward to being more involved next year, and I feel being part of the committee is an excellent way to do that. I’m eager to contribute to the chapter's mission, and benefit, alongside both returning and new members, from the insights and experiences of such inspiring speakers.

This past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as President of UCL Boat Club, which has given me a strong foundation in society management, from budgeting and logistics to member engagement. Leading UCL’s largest sports club taught me the importance of communication, transparency, and teamwork - all skills I’d be excited to bring into a society that's just a little bit more related to my degree ;)

As Treasurer, I’m committed to ensuring that our events remain affordable, inclusive, and accessible to all UCL students. I’d love the chance to support this society behind the scenes and help it continue to grow.
