Anime Society: Welfare Officer

Anime Society has a special place in my heart - it's where I made my first friends. It's a gathering of fun folks that gave me a chance to put myself out there more when I was (and am - it's a never-ending process!) adjusting to university life. I'm running for the role of welfare officer to return the favour; I'd like to keep the society as open and friendly as it always has been to anyone who might be hesitant to join in the conversation. 

I would love to hold events that can help improve the members' wellbeing and check in on them based on my own (and everyone else's!) student experiences. But at the same time, I'm looking to be an approachable listening ear who can offer help where needed in quiet.
