Hi!! My name’s Alice, I’m a 2nd year Arts & Sciences student and would love to be your Project Manger! I love doing yoga to relax after a stressful week at uni and it’s the perfect excuse to buy cute workout outfits 🫣

Why you should vote for me:

  1. I’ve created my own successful apparel business so I promise to design cute, comfy yoga hoodies and affordable merch.
  2. I’m the mum friend when it comes to planning and booking holidays, therefore I will organise a fun and immersive yoga trip!
  3. Finally, keeping trip costs low to make it as accessible as possible will be a top priority.

Don’t hesitate to dm me if you have any suggestions or questions @alicedove._

See you in class! 🫶😚

Yelena Bennett

I have been part of the yoga and meditation society since first year, when yoga classes were held over zoom! I wasn't new to yoga but since being part of this society it has become a real passion of mine. Being project manager would mean a lot to me as I care about the society and its members. I am hardworking and a good communicator, which means I can be relied on to help with day to day coordination of the society, as well as to help with bigger projects such as designing merch. I am definitely that friend who loves planning trips and my organisational skills mean I will take researching for the yoga retreat seriously. Hopefully you can see that I will make a great project manager. Thank you!

Yoga and meditation are an integral part of my life and I truly believe in the power of these practices to support us during our studies and accompany our growth through our life at large. I would love to take on the role of project manager and get involved in the committee.

During my gap years I stayed in multiple retreat centres and was able to experience participating in as well as assisting in the organisation of yoga and meditation retreats. I'd be so excited to take a central role in co-creating the annual retreat for the society!

As project manager I’d take the time to get to know what matters most to members of the society in order to cater to what will be most appreciated and enjoyed. I’d love the opportunity to work on projects that can help members get the most benefit from their yoga and meditation practices, from beautiful merch to different events and socials!

May the benefits of our practices ripple out into the rest of our lives, our communities and our world. <3

Hi everyone!

I’m pretty new to yoga but have really enjoyed being a part of the society so far and would love to get more involved.

This role seemed really exciting and perfect for me. I would be in my element planning your yoga retreat, as the friend who always gets the trips out of the group chat! Planning anything, in particular trips away, is something I really enjoy, from travel arrangements to accommodation and food for the stay! I am also super vigilant with safety and pay great attention to detail, ensuring everybody is safe, happy and well looked after the entire time. I also have a good level of prior knowledge on planning and executing successful trips and activities, having volunteered as a Rainbows and Brownies leader, taking groups of Girlguides on numerous outings and holidays over the last few years.

In addition, creating your merchandise would be such a fun and rewarding job! Getting a memento from something that brings you such joy during your degree will always feel so special and I would love the opportunity to help provide this for you. I would be dedicated to making sure your merch is something you genuinely love and can take pride in wearing!

Thanks for considering me for your committee :)
