Hi!

I'm Alisa, a 2nd year in Medical Sciences and Engineering (in the division of Surgery and Interventional Science) and I was interim treasurer for the SISS in Term 1. I helped organize talks and events with the interim president, Bruno, and would greatly appreciate your vote if you would like to see a continuation of those!

We already have multiple lab visits in the works, as well as fun socials and hopefully more careers events.

My goal as treasurer is to make our events as accessible and affordable for our members as possible, whether you live centrally or are a commuter, while still ensuring the growth of our society and that your ability to network with us remains for years to come.

I have always been community-oriented, having been treasurer of my highschool student council as well, and I want to make sure you have a bioengineering-centered environment where you can make lasting connections with like-minded friends as well as potential colleagues and employers.
