Pi Media: Treasurer

Hi I’m Tarisha Kaushik and I’m nominating myself for the position of Treasurer at Pi Media. As the current interim treasurer, I have had the opportunity of working with the present committee members at the Welcome Fair and other freshers’ events like the journalism workshop. I have also written for the freshers’ magazine this year - Campus Chronicles and thoroughly enjoy being a member of the society. Having completed all the prerequisite training for this position, I’m already acquainted with the financial processes for the society regarding grant acquisitions or reimbursements. I’ve worked with the committee on budget planning for our annual expenses ensuring the effective allocation of funds for all sections of Pi Media as well as social events. Additionally, I have successfully secured grant funding for the Pi Media Print Magazines for Term 1 and 2. I would love to continue within this role and contribute to the Pi Media society.
