About Me

Hello! My name is Katherine Lu, and I am running for Publicity Officer. I'm currently a first year BA Philosophy student! 

Why Am I Qualified?

Ever since September this year, I have worked as the provisional publicity officer for Philosophy society. During this time, I managed both the society's Instagram and Facebook account. Working alongside the rest of the provisional committee, I help hosted more than 8 events and created all the promotions for them. Examples of my work can be seen on the Philsoc social medias. Additionally, up till October 26th, the Philsoc Instagram account had an increase of 16.8% of followers compared to before under my care. 

I loved working as a committee member for the past few months. I think what this society does is very meaningful to give all philosophy enthusiasts—even non-philosophy students—a better chance to get to know the variety fields that might not be commonly talked about. 

I look forward to continue contributing to this society!
