Philosophy Society : President

Hello everyone! I'm Anders, a second-year Philosophy BA, and you might have seen me at a philosophy society event or two... or three... or more...! I have been serving as your interim president since September, and I think my work on behalf of the society could be well continued through serving as your permanent president this academic year.

I have been leading our interrim committee in organizing socials, holding study sessions, and collaborating with other London philosophy societies, and I pledge to do the same as your permanent president. I hope to coordinate many more academic and extracurricular events throughout the next few terms, and increase society engagement to new heights. I also hope to establish firm methods of handover and knowledge transfer during my time in our committee, so future leaders have all the tools they need to grow and expand each year, rather than starting from the foundations.

I am dedicated to maintaining a vibrant community of those interested in philosophy outside the strictly academic sphere, and I hope you will lend me your support in this election. See you all around!
