Juan Grano De Oro Fernandez

Since I enrolled in my Biomedical Engineering Degree, my interest in organizing events for Biomedical Engineers has increased tremendously. Eager to contribute to this sector that I am passionate about, I'm excited to use my previous experience and skills to ensure the success of the Sponsorship Manager position, fostering learning and collaboration among Medical Technology students. As a Biomedical Engineering graduate and current MSc student in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering, I aim to bring forms of funding that allow to run events and great conferences in this dynamic sector. Therefore, as a Sponsorship Manager, I'm committed to creating a valuable experience for all this thriving society members.

To excel in this position, some of my concerns are:

-Employ my wide experience from prior events (MEW, sRM) for seamless and professionally significant events

-Usage of effective networking tools (Apollo together with LinkedIn, GMass) to connect with engaging speakers, professionals, sponsors, and companies to ensure compelling talks and a sustainable event infrastructure

-Employment of proven helpful techniques (Organizers book, tasks matrix) to strengthen and enhance future tasks

Eager to excel, aiming to set a strong precedent for the role, and contribute significantly to MedTech, I believe I possess the qualities to be an excellent Sponsorship Manager.
